Flower Depot is a pioneer in sustainable flower farming in the Philippines. Our flowers are grown in rich, living soil. We grow our flowers using sustainable practices such as organic, biodynamic and indigenous methods. We compost, use cover cropping, do green manuring, follow a biodynamic sowing calendar, do crop rptation, and use integrated pest management and beneficial insects (meaning no pesky pesticides!) for all your flowers. We even use greenhouses made entirely out of bamboo! Our farm is treated as an entire living system, along with the soil, our plants, our animals, our farmers, and even the cosmos.
STRAIGHT FROM THE FARM
The flowers you buy from us are grown in the foothills of Mt. Kitanglad. Our flowers are picked fresh from our farm and shipped to our distribution center in Metro Manila. Here, we clean and screen the flowers for quality. The flowers are then carefully arranged and wrapped, and then boxed in our exquisite boxes for shipment or delivery to your recipient. That is why your flowers are fresh and vibrant, and you get the most value for your money as you do away with middle-man costs. Our flowers are always kept fresh, cool and well-hydrated. As our flowers are grown sustainably, without pesticides or chemical fertilizer, they are more vibrant and last longer. With proper care, your flowers will remain fresh for at least 5 days.
